i shoot: beautiful budapest

the next stop of my journey was budapest, where every step unveiled a new stunning example of how they don't make it like they used to.

the "great market hall" on the pest end of liberty bridge is a stunning sight. local vendors sell fresh fruits & veggies, and handcrafted souvenirs.

built in 1894, the 3rd-oldest metro in europe runs beneath the streets of budapest. this rounded maple door along line 1 stands about 3 feet tall.

we stayed in zsofie's home in the hungarian hills. the envigorating shade of blue in my room was just what i needed to wake me up after a long night of spritzers at the ludwig museum. aside from my pile of travel goodies, the rooms' well-selected and precicely-hung art is complimented with just the right accidental bits.
